ABOUT THE BOOK
The ritual of sharing the remnants was underway. Piles of Aunt Gee’s and Uncle Dennis’ belongings were being divided up between Elsie and Nan, other piles for their nieces and nephews. Amongst other things, Holly ended up with Gee’s secrets, some old brass and tin picture frames filled with magazine and old calendar pictures, which had adorned the walls in the bedrooms and living area. She had also grabbed the lunch box filled with letters to a Miss Gerald from a young Irish sailor, Michael, and some others, to be read later when she had time – more secrets.
Newspaper clippings were found hidden behind the framed pictures. They were birth, death and engagement notices of one very large family. Holly couldn’t wait to investigate. What stories would unfold?
